The story behind Moropa Site Solutions
Moropa Site Solutions is a locally owned, independent tower operator. The company operates primarily in five provinces: Kwa-Zulu Natal, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North-West and Eastern Cape. The company focuses on building tower sites in the deep rural or underserviced areas of these provinces.
Why? There is an ever-widening gap of broadband coverage and associated services between the urban population and rural communities and businesses. Moropa Site Solutions bridges this divide by building cost-effective towers which then the mobile operators lease space on these towers to put up their equipment and provide the required voice and broadband services to the public.
We see ourselves as partners to the mobile operators by being able to reduce their CAPEx requirements because MSS makes the necessary investment for the tower. On the other hand we also partner with local communities where these towers are located as the local communities assist in the construction of the tower and also safe-guarding them from any potential vandalism because vandalism robs the community of voice and broadband services when these incidences occur. We are proud to be part of the solution of enabling communication services to these under-serviced areas.
